Memories around
the campfire

Explore the area

A campfire invites you to stay a while. As the fire burns and evening falls, a moment of calm and togetherness comes naturally. Bread on a stick, vegetables in foil or a simple meal over the flames: for many guests it is the best moment of their stay.

Sheep grazing under the shepherd's huts
Sheep under the huts
“Waking up to the soft bleating of sheep under your window and the smell of fresh coffee on the fire.”

Our sheep truly belong to De Nieuwenhof. They wander calmly around and under the huts and are part of everyday life on the grounds. They give De Nieuwenhof a rural, authentic character: lively, yet relaxed.

The chickens roam freely too, and deer regularly cross the field next to the grounds.

A warm place in winter, too

When the huts are covered in a layer of snow, the atmosphere is special. The landscape comes to rest and the silence makes your stay extra relaxing. Outside, the crisp winter air clears your head; inside, the pellet stove is burning. The shepherd’s huts can be booked all year round.
